What options for non-interface audio routing exists if one would like to run MIR and the sequencer (in my case ProTools) on the same computer? I use LoopBE1 for routing the midi part between MIR and sequencer and would like to do the same for audio, in effect avoiding installing another soundcard/interface to output MIR into my main audio interface (Digidesign 192).
Afaik the Digidesign 192 interface doesn't offer multi-client capabillity with internal routing, but perhaps I'm wrong?

above, some audio interfaces offer the option to re-route one of their output channels to an input channel internally. Likewise, there
are proprietary software solutions doing pretty much the same, only without relying on dedicated hardware. Both alternatives may be
exactly what you’re looking for when you aim for a close integration of MIR and a second audio application on the same computer.
A summary of all options and combinations is beyond the scope of this manual, though. Please refer to the operation manuals of
the devices and applications in question.
You imply that there are software solutions for internal audio routing, so I would be really happy to hear what solutions were tried and your experiences. And yes, I know it's not officially supported and I won't come in here screaming if it doesn't work. [;)]
