The analyzer will only be visible when audio is going through the VS equalizer plugins. Perhaps this is why you don't see anything happening?
GUI's for the 64-bit VST2 and VST3 plugins on OS X are being worked on and should appear in an update soon. Note that 64-bit AU versions are already fully functional (and have been for ages now).

BTW - I'm working a lot on Nuendo (and Cubase), too - most of the time under Windows, but sometimes on a Mac, too. Using Cubase 5 on a dual-screen Mac once gave me similar display-problems like the ones you described above, not only with Vienna Suite-plugins, but also with the products of other manufacturers (e.g. SPAN from Voxengo). It seems to be a graphical issue that only arises under very special circumstances, and we've not been able to reproduce it consistantly. - I've never run into the "drag-copy crash" you were describing, though.
Re - manual: We will keep your suggestions in mind. You are right that this kind of information is not part of the manual. But I think that we agree upon the fact that a thorough discussion of all aspects of mixing is most likely beyond the scope of this kind of documentation. 8-) ... For comparison: I've tried to be as detailed as possible in the Vienna MIR Manual, but many questions to our support-desk show that most people are not willing to go through as little as 100 pages of documentation, even if the product is so different and unique like MIR. [*-)]
A final note: I hope that we will see you frequently on these pages. That's why I strongly suggest to access your User Profile (just click on your user name in the top right corner), select the "Community"-tab and change the "Content Editor" to "Enhanced". Thanks also for the advice regarding the editor. I was getting crazy because all of these awful format in my posts. Be sure you'll hear from me in this post, since I've found it very useful, serious and professional (and very fast in the feedback, of course). One finally question regarding the forum: is there any way to make a search for a phrase or a group of words? I haven't found the option.

As a suggestion, you should include all this information in the Vienna Suite User Guide. Not only it gives the user more information about how importing your own impulses, but opens a new world of possibilities to the users that still don't know that they can do it and how can it be done technically. It should also be a very good option to include, with the Vienna Suite, a tutorial (in pdf, for instance) about the basic mixing procedures with these plugins. I'm a sound engineer and a composer and have experience in mixing and mastering music, but a lot of VSL users doesn't have the fundamental knowledge to use conveniently the plugins for their own.
I want to support this! A comprehensive manual is probaly not possible. But some guidelines and/orexamples would be very helpful.
