    Hello all:

    I'm having some unexpected behaviour since updating my VE and VI to the new 4.1 train.

    I'm using VE (not Pro) from in Logic Pro 9.1 (32-bit) and DP 7.2.1 under Mac OS X 10.6.5. With the 2.0.4017 releases, I used to have the behaviour that when I opened a project, Vienna Ensemble would open as an application. All fine - I understand.

    However, since upgrading to 4.1.7303 and above, I get both the 32-bit and 64-bit Ensemble servers opening up - and often the same instruments then loading into both servers. I understand that I would expect one or the other to normally open (I'd prefer the 64-bit one, naturally) - but I don't understand why both are opening.

    I've tried updating to the current versions (VI 4.1.7303, VE 4.1.7553, eLC 6.1.4.1048), and trashing the prefs in both the root and user prefs folders - but still no change.

    Can anyone else suggest how I can get the system to only launch one server, and only load the instruments once?
