  • power down slave PC from MacPro using Remote Desktop Connection?

Is there any way of powering down the slave PC directly from the master MacPro. The only options I get are to either log off, or to disconnect, but no option to actually power down the slave. It would be cool to be able to clear my desk of the PC monitor/ keyboard/ mouse! Merry Xmas graham robb www.grahamrobb.com

  • Press Control-Alt-End, and choose to shutdown from the "power button".

  • or if your slave is a MAC, from the remote Apple menu "shut down"

  • Thanks - I'm not too familiar with Windows. Your advice has been very helpful. graham robb
