    I am going to be purchasing a new computer soon, specifically to use with Vienna Ensemble Pro, so that I can load more instruments on it. My question is, can I copy my instrument files off of my Mac (wat I currently write with) and put them in the correct directories on the new computer, and then selecting those directories for my instrument locations? Would save me a lot of time (re-downloading all my instruments takes forever.) This would all of course be after I get a new Vienna Key for the new computer, and have Vienna Instruments and Ensemble installed. Thanks :) -Connor

    Yes, just copy the files and then set the correct path in Directory manager. Make sure that you have up-to-date versions of both the Vienna Software and eLicencer on the computer and all should be fine.

    FWIW I have back-up drives for my samples, so in the event of a drive failure, I can be up and running again in a matter of minutes.
