  • Any other Loopbe30's?

Hello, I've been working with VEPro and read a post suggesting Loopbe30 to be able to add multiple ports which is helpful for loading a lot of Kontakt scenarios. I was using it and all was well until I just upgraded to Win7 64 bit. Now there is a conflict with my M-Audio Ultra 8R. Does anyone know if there is another software program out there that performs the same function that works on Win764? Or, is there another way to achieve this? Thanks, -Mike www.nitesail.com

  • I've had no problems with Loopbe30 on W7 64bit. What exactly is the conflict?

    Do you get a message?

Did you remember to disable the MIDI feedback thing (whatever it is called) in Loopbe?

  • Yeah, for some reason ever since I did the update to 64 the control panel on my M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R won't work if Loopbe is installed. There's a conflict there and instead of waiting for them to fix it I figured I'd see if there was another option out there.

  • Hi Nitesail,

I've had this conflict between this M-Audio product and Loop Be 30 on W 7 some times ago too.

In the forum support from M-Audio in a similar case a technican was giving the hint to remove the M-Audio icon from the task-bar to solve the issue.

Don't know if it works. IMHO,  change the Interface. I'm afraid there is no other solution, if you want to use loopBe 30.

(AFAIK there is no other internal MIDI interface available.)

    Kind regards

    Frank

  • Hello Frank, thanks for the help. I've tried some of the things they suggest on the M-Audio site and none help. Hmmm.......might wait for another internal MIDI (I hate changing hardware). Thanks! -Mike

  • Maybe Vienna can address this? They're pretty good at making software. I guess I'm a little stumped why they wouldn't have done something about this yet. It would be a nice add on.....I'd buy it! -Mike

  • The only way around this, that I can see, is if there is a way for Sonar to see VEPro's "VE Pro Plugin MIDI In 1" in a MIDI track dropdown in Sonar. Then you can just run 16 channels off of each. Any ideas? -Mike
