    There may not be to many users using Ocean Way Drums in Kontakt within VEP but just a heads up that this instrument will not recall any settings on re load ......a real problem because there are a lot of parameters to tweek. Not sure if it's a Kontakt problem or a VEP problem or an Ocean Way problem. All my other instruments always recall correctly in this setup so I'm guessing it's OceanWay. I've also written to them.

    Just make sure to save your instrument and recall it otherwise your many hours of tweeking will be lost.

    This is not a problem but a feature apparently.  Read the Ocean Way Drums manual.  You have to save each instrument and then save the Multi each time you edit something to have it recall correctly.  It's a pain in the ass and have already complained about it.

    What a stupid, stupid method. It's lucky the drums sound so good otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to just trash them. Despite the price.

    This seriously bit me on the weekend and again today.

    I do feel slightly guilty that I didn't pick that "feature" up in the manual but really.........

    Have you also noticed that the vol fader on the instrument does nothing at all and you have to use the strip channel fader?

    Possibly another "feature"?

    Thanks for the heads up on that. At least I can save my sessions now.
