Several attempts to instantiate a 32-bit instance of Play in VEP have resulted consistently in producing this error:
After clicking "OK", I see this:
It's the "Controls" version of the GUI as opposed to the "Editor" view. Despite the "serious error" I'd be fine with this ugly display (it's just looks), but there's no way to select sounds.
Is this a known issue?
(BTW, I would have been happy to provide the version number of the Play engine, if only I were able to find it.)

Hi ,
the very last version of PLAY that works on PPC's is version v1.2.5.3 ( for both OS 10.4 and OS 10.5 ) .
However , the very first version of PLAY that was compatible with VEPRO (32bit) was v.2.0.18 ( minimum requirements OS 10.5.8 / Intel only ! ), which no longer supports the PPC platform .
Therefore you cannot use PLAY within VEPRO on PPC .
From my very subjective point of view let me add this :
PLAY within VEPRO on PPC would not perform that well anyway , only the very light PLAY libraries like FabFour and Silk would be usable .
Best
