  • X-serve for VSL?

It's a wild thought, but is it possible? I imagine a rack full of G4 X-serves running VSL, via Logic/EXS24

Anyone know if this is possible?
The downside is that you'd need to buy a new version of Logic for each machine to get the XSkey.

PS - I suppose the alternative is to use Logic 6's new freeze function and try to run VSL on one G4..........

fascinating idea .... but consider there are only two 66bit / 66MHz PCI-slots (which reqire 3,3V-pci-cards) and one combined 32bit-PCI/AGP-slot, so you may run into some restrictions.
also not really cheap .... but would love to have at least one here

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
