    This here might be pushing the envelope however,

    Can I open Vienna Ensemble Pro on i.e. one computer

    and from within that connect to a Vienna Ensemble Pro SERVER on a slave computer.

    I guess it aint possible but IF IT IS --- Please let me know how

    Server has no audio input.

    So the answer is no.

    Just to make sure that I was understood correctly...

    Vienna Ensemble Pro is a HOST and ProTools is a Host...

    ProTools as a Host CAN connect to a slave CPU running Vienna Ensemble Pro Server

    and Vienna Ensemble Pro as a host (Same CPU as Protools) CANNOT

    My idea was to have VEPro on the main CPU and within that insert VSL AU and stream the Server on a slave into VEPRO on the Master.

    Just as if PT was the host. In Theory (Mine at least) it could work

    VE Pro standalone does not "see" the plugin VE Pro here (VST) with either 32bit version or 64bit version, so on my system it's not possible to do what you want.
