    can someone point me to info regarding repeated notes? I simply want to get the second note to have the same dynamics as the first.

    ? I really think you're going to have to elaborate on that question..?

    Two consecutive notes will have matching dynamics so long as the velocity for each note is the same (in many orchestral libraries CC1 Moduation also affects dynamics, so this would have to be the same when each note is triggered).
