i'm getting pops and crackles and audio dropouts and quite a few stuck notes when using VE Pro, PLAY and DP. VE is on my slave computer a MAC 2 x 2.66 quad-core. Are their any settings i can or need to adjust in prefs or anywhere which will help alleviate these annoying problems?

Anyone please? In DP should Work Priority be high or low? i've tried 256, 512 and 1024 Buffers and neither seems to make a difference. My slave is a MAC Quad core 2 x 2.66 and my master is a Dual Core 2 x 2.66, i though that the combination of these 2 machines but suffice to not get these severe dropouts and pops etc. Master has 9GB Ram, Slave has 16GB! Also bummed about the AU spec, i'm sure this isnt helping. Anyone please?

Can't comment on this particularly, but I do know that a colleague of mine is suffering tremendously from stuck notes in many different plugins in DP. I'd assume it's a problem more with DP than with VE Pro.
Hmmm, hard to say, it might actually be EWPlay. I restartedDp once and the stuck notes were still playing when i restarted DP, coming from PLAY in VE Pro.

So Play is within a VE Pro instance? If so, try loading Play natively into DP and see if the problem still occurs, which will help rule out a VE problem. And just FYI if you weren't aware, Play has a memory server much like Kontakt so the RAM impact on a (32-bit) host sequencer isn't as bad if you -had- to run Play natively within DP.
