I have always thought that since VEP uses LAN to communicate audio and midi, soundcard should not affect VEP performance at all; until yesterday I pulled the soundcard out and VEP wouldn't work. All the midi and audio ports ( thru LAN ) were gone.
It seems VEP does rely on a soundcard to work and if this is the case, would the choice of soundcard affects its performance?
