    If you check Activity Monitor (on a Mac) you will see that when you quit VEPro that the Ram it was using has not been released.

    If you then restart VEPro and load some more samples you can run out of Ram very quickly. You have to restart your machine to clear the Ram.

    So is there an application that will flush the ram?

    Or perhaps some key command that I have forgotten?

    Hello philco,

    this is a Logic-related issue: Logic keeps all samples in RAM until you open a new project. Nothing you can do about it...

    Hi Paul, actually I don't use Logic. In fact VEP is the only running app on my slave machine.

    I'll keep checking to monitor this behavior.

    please provide us with the specs for your slave computer. OS, RAM, VE PRO version and so forth.

    The Slave is: 2x3.2 Quad Core Intel Xeon   10 Gig Ram

    VEPro 4.1.6853

    I'll do some tests tomorrow.
