    Hi,

    Since the VEP Server Interface (the plugin) and the VEP instance communicate, isn't it possible when a user clicks on DECOUPLE to check whether the instance is properly preserved? Seems like unnecessary extra caution is forced upon the user, since decoupling without preserving is, from what I understand, useless (and potentially dangerous, since the data isn't saved anywhere).

    And on a side note: Logic doesn't seem to disconnect from VEP when closing a project, only when opening a new blank project. Why is that?

    This is a valid suggestion. Noted down for future investigation.

    Logic doesn't actually close a project until you open another project (or quit Logic). This is how Logic behaves and can't be changed from our side unfortunately.
