Hi, I want to set up a slave computer running VE Pro but I don't have the ability to attach it to a display. The slave machine will be a PowerMac G5 running 10.5.8. Can I just connect an ethernet cable between the two machines and then use Apple remote to set up the slave machine? Anything else I need to know about the setup and routing? Is it easy to get the audio back into my Mac Pro?

although PPC Macs are not actively supported, VE PRO will work fine on your G5. Yes, you can use Apple remote to set up and use the slave machine. It´s not hard to route the audio back into your Mac Pro, just follow the instructions in the manual [:)]
