Just a simple question I guess: will the new USB3 benefit users of VSL with its higher (I have read 4 times faster effectively) speed of data streaming from an external disk, - and thus sample streaming I assume?
Is it, shortly, worthwhile to consider a purchase of an USB3 external disk, with the necesarry controller of course.
Can someone advise me in this?

I believe that Win users still should wait for the Servicepack 1 of Win7. (Autumn 2010)
As far as windows itself doesn't support USB3 it is not sure whether you will get the fully speed or not - even if the hardware is ready.
BTW: External Sata Disks are fast as well for getting a good transfer of datas.
