VI Instrument - X-fades globally?

Hi all,

Why can the Velocity X-fade only be assigned globally in an instrument? I want staccatos to respond to note velocity, and use the modwheel for sustains and such.

Am I overlooking anything?

This will be one of the many features in Vienna Instruments PRO, very soon.

In the meantime you can use a continuous controller to turn xFade on and off.

I use the same controller for velocity X-fade AND VXF- on/off; for the latter I adjust the curve in the map control window so that every value other than zero turns VXF on.
