Several years and you're just now posting something about it?!?!? Jasen is right... that's a bit hasty. Paul and Maya and everyone else at VSL have always been great working with me with any problems i have had, so i would definitely suggest contacting them about your situation (and one of them will likely respond to this thread soon anyhow.) I've run VSL on Logic for years now and have NEVER had it crash on me... sure, if had some weird issues here and there, but they've always gotten worked out.... And i am using a fairly Old computer (Mac Dual G5.)
So unless you are coming up short somewhere on the system requirements, im sure it can be worked out. Besides, converting Tens of thousands (if not HUNDREDS) of samples, then importing and laying them out, and THEN writing a script for them would be impossible. I cant even imagine how you would indepently get the transitional/interval samples cleanly recorded. The task you would be trying to take on would be of epic proportions. Additionally, what you would be doing might even be in violation of the licensing agreement (although don't quote me on that.) If i remember correctly when we buy a VSL product we do not *technically* own the samples, merely the right to *use* them.
Anyhow, don't fret. Just get in touch with customer service and have all your system specs ready, and i bet they can get it working for ya. Best of luck
