This is probably a graphics card issue. However, if you reduce the resolution % of the GUI (I can't quite remember what the control is called) you will get a rather blocky, but usable GUI instead. The best thing to do is see if there is an update to your graphics card drivers.

Thanks for your interest in Vienna MIR!

MIR is quite picky when it comes to graphic cards. We strongly suggest the use of ATI products; nVidia or Matrox cards usually behave worse regarding OpenGL, which is crucial for MIR's GUI.

In any case you could try to reduce the detail level of the Venue Map (Options > Preferences > General > Venue Image Detail Level). It's not pretty, but it could help to get you running.

BTW - do you use Windows Remote Desktop? We had some problems with that in earlier versions of MIR.
