  • VE Pro feature request

Double clicking in the empty space to the left (the channel column) opens the menu to add an instrument - this as an alternative to ctrl+v

    Cheers.

  • You can already rightclick there to add an instrument. It's also just two clicks to insert a Vienna Instruments channel. You can also rightclick an existing channel to insert one right there. This also applies to the mixer view.

  •  Yes, I am aware of that. But it would be nice to have that functionality added in addition to the  methods available already.

    Cheers.

  • I personally think that, while it may be very convenient for you, it will not be liked by other users that accidentally double clicking in the empty space adds a channel.

  •  Disagree. Most DAWs create chs when clicking in empty space, no? I know Cubase does, and I am pretty sure Logic does - at least it used to....

    Cheers.

  • Cubase seems to add a MIDI channel when double clicking indeed. Never noticed that particular feature before.

  • We already have a menu item, key command, and right click. IMO, double click is NOT intuitive. Pass.
