    I wondered why the solo instruments violin,viola,cello etc. sounded less than real on playback in the quartet and other small ensembles. The appearance of the sordino instruments helped but were still missing something. Before MIR these instruments were lacking a room. Application of external reverb seemed to make matters worse. 

    I am delighted the way these instruments sound in the Schubertsaal venue! They sound as if they are comming from an actual space.
