    I understand that it's an Apple imposed limitation, but since we could theoretically wait forever for them to fix it..

    Is there anything you guys could write into the software that would break this limitation. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not a software developer, so..

    I would really love to cut back on the number if instances I'm using on my (Mac) slave machine for really big templates, because the more instances I have, the more problematic it becomes with DP, and the "scrambled audio bundles" issue.

    We're investigating this, but results won't be for the near future. We're also looking into improving the behavior in DP, which seems to be somewhat of a problematic host in general.

    when launching VE PRO as an AU Plugin inside Logic ( ... or DP ... ) :

    what problems could occur when the instruments within VE PRO  are triggered through IAC-Midi(-Busses)

    instead of  "VE PRO Plugin Midi"  ... ?

    Unreliable MIDI timing in the form of latency and jitter. Also, I'm not sure whether bouncing would work reliably. Best way to know is to try it out. If it works smooth for you, there's no reason to not use it.

    When using the VE Pro Server Interface plugin, you will have garanteed sample accurate, latency/jitter free processing and reliable bouncing from the master host.

    anyone tried the iac midi route? Are there problems with latency etc?
