    Hello all!

    I'm controlling the Vienna Imperial with a Kurzweil SP2X. Unfortunately, this keyboard has only one pedal switch jack (which is assigned to sustain). So I am attempting to access the soft pedal samples using a MIDI controller knob.

    I read in a Sound On Sound review, that the soft pedal samples were controlled by CC #67. And so I programmed a knob to send MIDI #67 data, assuming it should activate the soft pedal when the knob was more than half way up. But this seems to do nothing.

    Can anyone confirm which MIDI controller is used to access the soft pedal (oddly, this seems missing from the manual), and whether a continuous controller can be used?

     Hi Matthew,

    have you also loaded the Soft Pedal samples? On the top you have a selection drop down box, where you can define which content should be loaded. Per default the Imperial loads without Soft Pedal samples.

    You are right! And just as you sent this, I also realized the error of my ways, and loaded up the missing samples. Now all is well!
