    Hi The problem I am having is that I am getting an error message when attempting to download license to my USB key. This is what I did and this is what I encountered: I downloaded the latest version of the eLicense Control Center software 6.0.2.7025. I restarted. I inserted the Steinberg key. I started the eLicense Control Center software. When the eLicense Control Center software starts up I got an error message: "The soft-eLicense on this computer needs to be repaired, because the necessary information for the validity of the Soft-e-licenser have been changed or corrupted..." When I click "Repair Soft elicense" I got the following error message "A connection to the license server could not be established due to incorrect network settings or because the license server is not currently available..." My internet connect is working fine at this point. I click close on the Repair dialog. The Steinberg key appeared in the window of the eLicense Control Center software along with my previous license for Virtual Guitarist. I clicked the "Enter Activation" button, I entered the Activation code I received for VSL Soprano choirs. After I enter the code I see the Vienna Instruments DL Soprano Choir in the Activation Code dialog. I clicked Download license and I got the following error message like the prievious one. "A connection to the license server could not be established due to incorrect network settings or because the license server is not currently available..." I tried the Repair Soft elicense button and I got the same error message. I tried the Recover button and I got the same error message. I tried the "Clean up memory" and that procedure completed successfully. Then I tries to download the license again and I got the same error message. I also disabled my internet firewall. No luck I just now read some posts about others having the same problem and it appears by to be a problem with the eLicense server. Should I just be patient and keep trying ? Thanks for any help with this.

    Dear composer 321,

    eLicenser/Steinberg actually indeed had serious troubles with their License Server for the last couple of days, but the problems are being investigated and should be solved soon.

    I have the same problem dounloading the Appasionata String 2

    It tells me The activation Code has used alredy

    After running a repair i try t the Activation Code again it finaly workt

    Dear kohltor,

    please make sure to have the current version of eLCC installed and press the "Recover" button in eLCC to complete the license download. In case that this doesn´t help please send an e-mail to our support and include your Vienna Key number. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

    In fact we hope that problems with pending or incomplete license downloads are solved for the future. Here is an official statement by Steinberg:
