Hello everybody,
Jeremy beat me to it, but here´s the official announcement of 2 updates in your Software User Area [<:o)]
As always, you will find upated changelogs and in the case of Vienna Ensemble PRO also an updated manual, with a glossary!
Enjoy!
Best,
Paul
Big thanks to Paul and team for the new manual. Pauls been very patient with us regarding emails and explaining Decouple mode etc. The new pages to the manual are sooooo much appreciated! Many things are very clear now.
Great job Vienna team. This new build is great! Love some of the suggestions geared towards Pro use as well.
Cheers,
+1 for great update VSL. Midi communication problems on recent updates is solved. THANK YOU!!!!!!! VEP is the backbone of my rig here - really elegantly thought out.
I am still getting crashes when quitting VE Pro Server on the mac version. It's been like this except maybe for some of the earliest builds. Then sometimes after I reopen Ve Pro I will get a blank window and it will do nothing and when I quit it the standalone VE Pro will open instead of the server.

+1 same here, I really like it, and with each version it just gets better! Thanks VEP team!
I am abandoning trying to use VE Pro and Kontakt on the mac as one of my servers, my other server is on a WinXP machine and it works perfectly. I've had nothing but problems--glitches, long dropouts, memory leaking etc--that I can't seem to solve. I am running big sample sets such as Mixosaurus. Not necesarrily VE Pro I imagine. Could be Kontakt and/or MacOS's terrible memory management. No worries. I have enough spare parts available that I am going to build a Windows 7 64 bit machine just to run VE Pro and Kontakt.
Something I don't quite understand. I open VE Pro standalone and create a viframe file and then save that to the desktop. I quit the VE Pro app and then double-click the viframe file. It appears to open VE Pro (based on the menus available). However, if I hover the mouse over the dock icon it says the active running program is VE Pro Server. This doesn't happen for the 64 bit version of VE Pro. Also, if I open the app directly (as opposed to double-clicking the viframe file, it opens what appears to be VE Pro (again based on the menus available) and the icon in the dock claims it is VE Pro. What is really going on here?
I'm having a problem with the VE Pro window disappearing when it's supposed to remain visible...
If I have VE Pro open on my right monitor, and Logic open on my left monitor, in some cases the VE Pro window will disappear if I simply select the Logic window...
It seems this happens when select instruments are loaded in VE Pro, such as Kontakt 4 and other NI products...
Can anyone else confirm this?
Thanks

Confirmed with MOTU Ethno - ONLY when the Ethno interface is visible, if you are viewing the mixer then it stays visible...
