    I have a Windows 7 64-bit machine with 8Gb of memory dedicated to VE Pro.  I noticed that the memory seemed to be leaking, so I tried a test.

    I just started up the machine, started VE Pro server (64), created a VE Pro instance, loaded a bunch of instruments, and checked the free memory (in the Perform tab of one of the instruments) - 5582Mb free.

    Then I just left it alone for 5 hours, after which the free memory had gone down to 5948.  That's half a gigabyte gone!

    In the meantime nothing else had happened at all ... I was not using my workstation, so no demand was made of VE Pro, and no other software was running on the machine.

    ???? !!!!

    I noticed a memory leak on the mac version. haven't really noticed in WinXP though. i plan to post in a separate thread.
