    Why won't the forum website let me do any editing with my posts? Such as carriage returns-hit the return key twice and there should be two empty lines-right? NOT! Tab indents-hit the tab key before the start of a line and there should be five spaces - right? NOT! Even simple text editors allow this ! Just wondering, regards Ray

    at your convenience i have changed your settings for the editor mode to enhanced, so you will see now more options (your profile - community - editor options).
    shift-return adds a line break (transleates as a break), return adds a line-feed (translates as a paragraph), tabs are not existing on the web, so please insert 5 spaces if needed (will be transformed automatically into 5 no-break-spaces).

    hitting TAB will move the cursor to the next field in a web-form (what the compose post page basically is).
