What would you charge for engraving a handwritten score in Sibelius?

I have quite a large Job for engraving a handwritten score in Sibelius, so it can be published.

It is a piece of contemporary music... 10 staves, 50 A3-pages. Since it is contemporary music, one has to fiddle around all the time and do some major tweaking (not one "common" note in there), so quite some work involved. Since I write contemporary myself, I am used to it though....

From my first look at the score, i would estimate one hour work per page... sometimes more, sometimes less...

Until now I only did smaller engraving jobs, so i am a little uncertain of what to charge.

Thanks for any advice or hints on what a publisher would charge for that...

Try to search here, I know this question has been asked a number of times in the past. If you wan't to start a new thread I recommend the "Finale - Mac" section since this is where you will find almost all engravers. (Most of the engraver pro's use both Finale and Sibelius)

There might be similar threads on the Sibelius forum as well but that I don't know since I only use Finale.

I'm afraid I can't give you any advice concerning your question since I'm not a professional engraver. I doubt there are many full time engravers on this forum at all. They are usually not that concerned with playback and more interested in the quality of notation.
