    Looking at sampling from a musical standpoint (as opposed to its use in sound effects) the legato tool is probably the most signifcant development since the invention of sampling. In playing the instruments in legato, an effect happens that could be compared to the creation of the third dimension in a hologram by splitting a laser --- suddenly that third dimension leaps into existence, and the sound becomes real. Also, the way that a player can get used to turning the legato on and off simply by keyboard touch is fantastic.

    I hope I haven't done too much raving on this forum, but wanted to congratulate the VSL for their great work with this tool and all the rest of this innovative library.
