Greetings, Description: Spectrasonics: Trilian and Omnisphere are located on my external HD VEP:/Spectrasonics/..... I now copied my Stylus RMX Sage folder, after talking to Spectrasonics about it, via ethernet to my external MacbookPro drive, and the SAGE folder is located in the root at VEP:/Sage/.... Started VePro64bit and loaded RMX.... then authorised it...... Restarted and now VEPro tells me "Could not find Sage folder, would you like to locate it?" However, it is in a dead end, clicking on OK to search for the sage folder does not do anything, neither does cancel. Dead end loop so to speak.....How do I solve this puzzle? :o)

SOLVED VePro hangs, only force quit works.

In addition.... using directory manager and adding VEP:/SAGE did not do the trick either.... you would expect that VEPro offers a finder window to locate the Sage folder, but it does not happen, and the application is locked in a loop. The strange thing is that before I authorised the plugin, it loaded normally as AU, only after authorisation VEPro chokes.

Hi Maya & Paul, thanks for looking at it. I was not aware about a RMX standalone version and seem not to have such, at least not in my applications folder. Unfortunately I can not try to start in Logic as Logic is installed on my MacPro not on my macbook, that's why I have VePro in the first place. However, I also wrote to spectrasonics and let you know what they may find out. Again, the strange thing was, and I assume this may be a hint, when I initally loaded it, before authorisation, it showed up in VEP as desired, only after the autorisation now it can not find the sage folder. Really puzzling.... :o)

Hi, The correct procedure to install Stylus RMX libraries via ethernet onto a second Mac is as follows: 1. Copy the entire SAGE folder to your external HD. 2. Donwload the latest RMX engine 3. authorise 4. In this Folder: Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/ throw away any existig sage alias. 5. On your external HD create an alias of the Sage folder and drag it into the folder in 4. Solved.

Hi Maya, you're most welcome. May be the one or other runs into the same issue and finds it helpful. Best Georg
