Installed Win7 64-bit with Snow Leopard Boot Camp using the latest Apple drivers. - 2009 Mac Pro 2.26 8-core.
Having major stability problems with Syncrosoft Key, Key doesn't light upon startup. When re-inserted the Key lights up but then the sample drive (internal SATA) cannot be recognized by computer. eLicenser won't see dongle hardware to download new licenses. (Yes, latest eLicenser,)
Tried multiple Syncrosoft Keys. Tried all availble direct USB ports and hubs. Other USB devices work like keyboard, mouse, memory stick.
I notice on the internet that there are multiple issues with Win7 64-bit and USB. Also I read about problems with Nviidia chipsets - including with Syncrosoft Keys (according to Steinberg Support site.). I don't believe there is an Nvidia chipset on the Apple motherboard.
So does anyone at VSL have this kind of problem with Win7 64-bit and the Syncrosoft Key?
Is my only choice getting rid of the Win7 install and going to Vista 64?
