Yes, it's fixed. You didn't read this in the changelog because it's more broad fixes to the MIDI processing that caused this to be fixed.
I can not confirm this. I still have hanging notes and audio dropouts with LASS and even more so with Samplemodellings The Trumpet.
As the problem is related to 48k sample rate projects you should start a 48k project, then close it then start your real project again. VE Pro can't guess what your sample rate is, but it will keep the last one. You could have a 48k project with nothing in it -- just a "pump primer."
It's less of an issue for me because all my projects are 48k. I never switch back to 44.1.

I don't know what to say...
As mentioned several times before, I NEVER work at 48KHz but always at 44.1 and still experienced this issue.
However, it's working for me right now and i sure will do some more testing.
I have been forced into 44.1 because of all the issues between Kontakt/LASS/VEPro/Sonar, and would much prefer to be working at 48. I'm happy to hear that the latest build has fixed the issue for some of you, but it has not for me!
Everything runs flawlessly at 44.1, but LASS is not useable at 48. I've tried reloading the samples, but that doesn't seem to work either. Running Sonar 8.5 on a fresh install from Windows 7, VE Pro is on a separate Mac Pro running Vista x64.
Thanks,
