As I understand it, Logic can't access more than one port through the plug-in. So when I go from Logic to VE Pro (running on the same Mac) I make several VE Pro instances on the VE Pro server and I get 16 MIDI channels on each of those. Those instances add up pretty fast on my machine, and I'm ending up with a bunch of open VE Pro windows. Can we get a tabbed interface in a future version of VE Pro? Instead of each instance of VE Pro being its own window, they will each be tabs, like ports in Gigastudio. Maybe the Active Instances window can be another tab. This seems to be a much cleaner way to deal with multiple server instances, I hate having all of those windows to dig through.

Feature request: tabbed interface for VE Pro

+1 As for clutter, when I use AU effects on sends, two things, when activating the mixer view, they stay open, it would be nice if they close the gui's same way as with AU instruments.

You can actually already access the different windows in a VE Pro Server session very easily using the Exposé feature on Mac. You can also assign a shortcut to do this for all windows of a single application (such as VE Pro Server). To check or change your Exposé settings, just click the Apple menu (top left of the screen at all times), then "System Preferences...", "Exposé & Spaces" and finally "Exposé".
