reeeeeally long latency with VE Pro

Mac Pro (2007) 2x2,66GHz, 13GB, Snow Leopard 10.6.2, Logic 8.0.2, VE Pro (demo license)

I'm getting reeeeeeeeeally long latency with K3 in VE Pro. Like 30 seconds or something like that! Here's what I've done:

Started 32-bit server
Created an instance
Loaded VSL SE Violins+ into first instrument (midi ch 1)
Create a second instrument, K3 Player
Loaded LASS Cellos Full Leg L into second instrument (midi ch 2)
Created a multi-timbral instrument track in Logic
Loaded VSL > Vienna Ensemble Pro > Multi Output
Connected to above instance


If I click on track 1, I get the VSL violin. No problem.
When I click on track 2, I get the cello sounds 30 seconds later.


I'm at a loss.

A little more info:

Rebooting didn't help

Watching the K3 UI, it seems the MIDI events are what are being delayed. The notes come back as soon as I see the little MIDI plug icon in K3 light up.

All solved. I installed the public beta and no more 30 second latencies. (I'm probably exaggerating. It was maybe only 15-20 seconds. :^D )
