I figured I should start a new thread for this question as before I was really focusing on understanding the various products and what to buy, whereas now it's really a system capability question.
Basically, if I have duo processor Intel 1.66 GHz on my laptop, is it possible to get started with any of VSL and then reinstall on a different machine when I get one? Or is basically everything that VSL offers impossible on anything less than 2.0 GHz? Could I purchase, say, a few instruments and do chamber stuff on this kind of computer, or will it just not run at all? Is there a way to network two computers like this into a grid and have VSL run on top of the grid? Or is it just sort of like wait until I get a new computer before I can even think of VSL?
I'm assuming of course that the stuff VSL offers isn't single-install...like, if I get a new computer, I can then install whatever I've bought on that, right?
