  • VePro Input channel question

Hi, playing in standalone mode, I have successfully connected an input channel that plays back my connected Korg Keyboard. A click onto the INPUT allows me to choose the correct input channel. Now trying the same in Cubase 4 I see only NO INPUT when I try to select the input channels for the fader. I started th 32 bit server, then cubase, then loaded VEPro as an Instrument. Then added an input channel and here I can not select the channel anymore. What am I doing wrong? All I want is to have my external keyboards on an Input channel. Thanks!

  • Dear Oceanviewstudio,

in "plug-in mode" the inputs are only assignable to outputs from multichannel 3rd party instruments. I hope that explains it.

    /Regards,

  • Hi Maya, honestly, not sure whether I understand this. Does this mean that I can not use my hardware keyboards in VEPro from within Cubase? I mean, I see no Inputs at all that I could select on the channel. In RME total mix, i see the signal, the bus ahs been setup in cubase, but in VEPro I can not get the input?

  • Hi,

when used as a plug-in, there are no external audio inputs available, that´s correct. You can of course always use the inputs of your sequencer.

    Best,
