    Hi there,

    I tried to setup my 64bit server with 2 instances of Appass, 1 Epic Orch and 5 instances Kontakt 4. in an i7 920, 12 GB Ram. (Slave) build 4536

    I started with the Kontakts and in the moment, when I load the VSL instances, I get the CrackleGalore, I had to set the buffer size in Logic to 1024, which is unworkable. and even then I had some pops.

    If I use VIs alone, its easy, if I use K4 alone , also no probs.

    question: Has one of you guys running a similar setup ? Or should I use 1 instance only for VSL and the other one for Kontakts ? This would be too bad...

    Do you have the multiprocessor in Kontakt 4 on ?  What Latency do you use in your Host ?  Normally I used 128, but no way with VEpro, the best I could get was 256.

    How many multiprocessing threads do you use ?

    Yep, no way. Today, I put all the Kontakts in the 64bit Server and my 3 VIs in the 32bit. Same thing. I have to set the I/O buffer in Logic to 1024 to get crackle free results.  Both servers together use about 3,5 GB Ram, thats not too much, is it ?

    THe PC runs XP64 btw.

    Anybody ?
