    Dear All,

    Could you share your ideas for automating VE Pro with Logic, do you use hyperdraw and controller values to automate things like velocity on/off and cross fades. Also am I right in thinking that with Logic's track automation (as opposed to hyperdraw), I can only automate Vol, Pan and sends in VE Pro?

    You can send MIDI to V.I.s running in VE Pro, but...well, I don't want to go as far as saying that I recommend this, but I very much prefer to use it for real-time performance expression, for example riding the level while you're sequencing. I'd treat VE Pro as a static mixer, however, and use the Logic mixer's track automation for "console automation."
