    Heya all,

    I just got my vienna suite and make a 1st try with it ^.^ This is The battle on the ice of prokofiev.

    The 1st problems i gotis that 1 of the 8 cors was always overused. At start i tried with 1 EQ and 1 powerpan on each instruments (45 in total) with only master EQ on the master the cor on the right was always close to red and when i added the convulationreverb was 100% of the time in the red when the others was just a litle bit more than midle. After see that i tried just use buss on diferent group of instrument for the EQ but even like that the cor on right still going in red idk if that's normal and what i should do for change that.

    Say me what you are thinking about what i made and if any idea on what i should change ^.^ Take care it start on pp and go to ff don't put to hight the vol when it change to pp on more ^.^ http://gilles.costard.free.fr/Musique/Test.mp3

    I don't own Vienna Pro but is there a way to bounce your MIDI track to audio without the effects?  Then load the audio track into Vienna Pro then add as many effects to the audio track as your CPU allows, then bounce that audio track with the effects or you could wait until final mixdown.  You'll have to work on it one MIDI track at a time.  I don't know what sequencer you're using but there should be a way to turn off or archive the other MIDI tracks that you're not working with.

    Playing audio tracks is much less strain on your CPU than playing MIDI tracks.

    I just noticed that you said you have 8 cores.  With that much power you shouldn't be having problems like this.  Is everything being processed on one core?

    Thanks for have answer and yes its always the 8th cor who was being in red. For the moment i trying another way to work and doing it with another music who got less track to see if like that it working better. I am going to post what i made forknow what you all thinking about it. See you ^.^

    So here the music i used for make my diferents test. Its the music i orchestred as last project for my orchestration cours ( melodies are from Ben newton ) If you guys can say me what you think about it, i tried make it sound as realist as i can. All is made with VSL SE except the choir and used vienna suite also. i have can use vienna enssemble 2 w/out to much trouble but i still wondering why, with a 8 cors i still can't listen in real time all my instruments in same time ( only 21 tracks ) not geting the 8th cor in red but the sound start to crack when to much instruments and sometimes no instrument playing. I think i should see for use another computer as slave when i will have find a job in music. If some are interested i could try later put all files for you can open it on logic if you wish.
