  • FL Studio 9 crashes when opening Vienna Ensemble Pro

    Dear Vienna Team!

Unfortunately FL Studio 9 crashes when opening Vienna Ensemble Pro.

It says: "Vienna Ensemble Pro crashed while processing..."

    System:
    XP SP3
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
    4GB RAM

    FL Studio:
    9.0.1

    Vienna Ensemble Pro:
    4.0 build 4416

As the Introductory Offer is only through October 7 I would like to know if there will be support for FL Studio or any updates till the 7th?

I really would like to buy the full version.

    Thanks a lot!

  • Try enabling static buffer size for the plugin (I recall there is a per plugin option for this in FL).

  • Thank you very much Karel!

    You were right :)!

I had to choose  "Use fixed size buffers", now everything's perfect!

Thanks again, god bless you :D!

  • Glad to be of service.

  • Even though I have fixed buffer size settings set, I'm still encountering some difficulties. While I can receive sound, there is a noticeable delay and the sound patch (Fab Filter One default sound), sounds like a noise wave rather than a saw! I'll do some more experiments. Having said that, all other DAWs here work fine (REAPER, Live, and Cubase). This is a very very cool product! Edit: You need to set the buffers to none or 1. I had them set at the default of 2 and it was causing the weird noise.

  • The problem with the buffer set to none or 1 is, that the CPU usage is more than doubled.

I downloaded the 4536 build and the CPU usage is now slightly better... but when the buffer is set to 2, the sound is still stretched.

There is now as well the "reload problem" that many Cubase users have.
VE Pro crashes when a project is reloaded in the new version! :(

    Will that be fixed?

I will try to install the older build to load my projects.
