  • VE PRO registration

    Hi guys,

Just curious, where do I get my license for VE PRO? I've purchased VE 3, but for some reason, it doesn't show anywhere in my user area that I've done so.

    Thanks!

  •  I believe you go to your "user area" of the site and it will be there.

  • U should also get the licenses by email.

  • I'm a bit confused too.  I've been using VE2 for a while now, I upgraded to VE3 just to take advantage of the free upgrade offer and I downloaded VE PRO but I can't find where the activation codes are.  The email I received when I purchased VE3 only contained the codes for VE3 and I didn't see them anywhere in my user area, where do I get the codes to activate VE PRO?

you don't need any new licenses or codes - VE PRO runs with the VE 3 license!

so download from USER AREA - SOFTWARE - Vienna Ensemble PRO, install, play, have fun

mac users are asked to follow the default procedure: reboot, install, repair permissions

windows users should also reboot to make sure no related processes are running

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Thanks cm, I thought the license was the problem but it looks like it's the 10.6/syncrosoft/64 bit issue.  VE Pro 32 seems to be working fine.

  • Hello jroadrage_1768

I have just learned that I can use the 64 bit version of VE Pro just fine now, with the latest version of the eLicenser eLC (6.0.1.8 ) installed.  The problem with 6.0.1.8 seems to be only when you want to open it in OS X 10.6.1 for any reason, it won't do it.  So, when I needed to do a registration of the new Epic Orchestra, I had to get rid or 6.0.1.8 (Maya put the solution up in the General area), reinstall the previous version of LCC 5.4.19.9, and then register the product.  After that, I installed 6.0.1.8 again, and now I am using the 64 bit versions of VE Pro with Logic 9 and Sibelius, and Standalone.  I got this idea of being able to go back to 6.0.1.8 for 64 bit from a post in the General area, I believe on this board.

    Mac Pro 2.66, 12 gig memory, OS X 10.6.1
