  • sorry, but this is one of those *security features* which don't work with online shops ... how should our server know which order can be processed if the payment has been refused yesterday?

i'm sure you even don't have the respective page open in your browser ... you could try to repeat the order process though (possibly the product is still in your basket)

this is assumably how it works in your case:

    - VSL checkout page asks payment server

    - payment server asks server of the creditcard company

    - creditcard company server asks bank server

    - bank server replies with YES or NO to creditcard company server

    - creditcard company server doublechecks and replies to payment server with YES or NO

    - payment server forwards the result to the checkout page

    - if the process does not complete within 90 seconds the checkout page assumes the connection (to the browser) has been lost or one of the upstream services is down.

in other words: we can ask for allowance to charge your creditcard, but the bank cannot trigger an order on the VSL server.

  • Thank you for your reply Mr Christian .

I'm confused cause how my bank know about my purchase and ask me for 195 eur ! They ask me everytime when I purchase something from net , and everytime I have purchased with success .

    Best Regards

  • possibly the charging you are referring to is done manually (the product is not immediately assigned to your account but a serial is sent later via email) - but i can ask if there is such a thing like a back-channel, though i´can't imagine how they would manage that missing an active chain of authentication ...

  • I didn't receive any serial via email !

Maybe they have menage this manually !

    Waiting for your reply.

  • I just tried to purchase VE 3 and the same thing happened to me. I called up my bank and had them lift the restriction off my account. I came back here to the site to proceed with the purchase. Got as far as the VISA Verification sign up... filled in the necessary info, hit the submit button to continue with the transaction and nothing. Just a blank screen in the middle of the website. Called my bank to make sure it didn't go through since I have not received an email from VSL about the purchase. Bank told me it didnt go through - nothing is pending. Ok so I want to buy VE 3. I just don't want to go through this process again of getting to the last steps of the transaction and staring at a blank screen... then having to call my bank again to make sure nothing went through. Please let me know when the systems are ready for me. Or perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Thanks

  • tao, unfortunately 2 times the response was *payment has been declined by the payment organisation* - stefan will contact you for a back-office order.

the other 2 responses were *the paymentID is not unique* what usually indicates a form has been submitted repeatedly.
