I just flipped through the manual and could not find a solution on how to redirect MIR's audio output to a host software (like using Rewire to route audio from one application to another, for example). Is it true that mighty MIR's output can only be recorded by an old cassette recorder plugged into the output of my soundcard? Just kidding... in fact, I am often mixing classical orchestra set-ups and modern electronic sound components, so MIR (as a whole) would be only one "instrument" for me, which I would like to mix with other "instruments" in a host software...
Right now, MIR has to be seen like a stand-alone mixing console with integrated VST- and VI-hosting. It receives MIDI and sends audio. The audio output will most likely be re-routed to any other DAW (either by simple digital connection or an internal bounce-option, if the hardware offers it), or a dedicated master-recorder.
