I just purchased VE... It is in anticipation for the upgrade to VE Pro, and so I don't think I will even install the current version, but I want to be prepaired when VE pro finally comes in !

And in this regard there's a thing I'm not really sure of : it's the best ram strategy.. (Sorry in advance if my following question sounds a bit naive, but I have no idea how this "magic" system actually works...)

My question is : is it best to put as much ram as possible only in the main PC (the server, if I don't misunderstand the terminology) , (the other machines' ram being unsignificant), or is it more useful to put as much ram as possible equally in each and every machine ?

What I don't really grasp with this VE's network system is that (I'll try to be clear) :
is each vst actually "opened" and handled in the memory of the machine it is installed on (with only the generated audio data streamed from it to the main PC via network, or... is each vst "opened" and handled in the memory of the server PC, the "slaves" being just some kind of "shell" for the plugins ?
And thanks in advance for the reply !
