  • No Effects Found

I just installed the latest versions of Vienna Instruments (VI) and Vienna Ensemble (VE).  First, let me say that I like the improvements!  The UI looks nicer, and the pause when loading patches is gone.  However, in VE, when I click "ADD EFFECT" to insert a reverb or EQ, I only see "No effects found."  I have uninstalled and re-installed VE, and repaired permissions multiple times, with no change.  The locations of my plug-ins has not changed, so I don't know why VE is suddenly unable to find them.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks.

  • Hi Vienna-Team.

I have the same problem in VE3. Please create an update to solve this problem. When do you plan to release VE-Pro?

  • Hi,

did you check in the "Preferences" of VE (standalone) whether the right path is assigned for the plug-ins?

    Paul

  • Hallo Paul.

    Nico.

  • Same problem here, neither AU or VST effects can be found in the latest VE3 version (3170)

  • When I go to Preferences>Plugins of VE (standalone), it says "Effect Plugins found," followed by an empty white box (meaning that NO plugins were found).  The only other button is the "Close" button.  On page 23 of the VE manual, I see a picture showing an additional button "VST Settings," followed by a "VST Subsystem Configuration" dialog box, in which you can add and remove folders, as well as rescan for plugins.  However, in my version of VE, those buttons do not appear.
