Did I miss this announcement (update from a couple months back)?

    Looking forward to this one.

    Just around the corner.

But it could be a big corner.

...or making it home from the pub in Dublin!

  • 'country mile' :)

  • Where I go to college - just outside of dublin. You think the education would be better...

  • Looks very nice Robert. A glorious summer's day if I'm not mistaken and not a sinner to be seen. Is that the pub straight ahead?

    Colin

  • That looks like Maynooth... beautiful and a great education (but only if you want to become a priest!).

  • Aha

So it is the pub then. Explains why there isn't a sinner to be seen!

  • Has anyone heard a release date?

  • VSL - any chance of going against your long standing policy and giving us at least a 30 day window.  Back about 45 days ago I had the impression we would see this 'end of May'.   No pressure if it is not ready (I'd rather have that) - but this may well be the most exciting thing happening in the next bit of time.

    Rob

  • Yes, it'd be nice to get a bit of warning, to help ease the old impatience.  However, it's best that they're sure and not saying one thing then having to delay it.

    :-)

  • A 'window' of '30 days' would be helpful - if just to help us plan better for any additional farm units and/or upgrades that will need to be done.

But as my granny always says - 'you'll see me when you see me.'

  • I totally understand that the VSL development team is working hard to make sure "VE-Pro" is a very stable initial release, which is a very wise thing to do.  I just wanted to know, how likely is it to be officially released during "July"  ?

Any feedback from VSL regarding VE-Pro's target release date would be helpful.

     Thanks.

  • Oh... I just read on another thread that VE-Pro won't be released before the end of July, which in the software world could mean sometime during August.  Well... Unless they run into some unexpected complications,  which can drag it even further into Sept.

Hopefully every minute of this long wait is worth the reward VE-Pro will finally offer.

  • hahaha

There are two calendars: the lunar one, which is linear, and the product release one, which goes one day forward and two days backward. :)

(I mean that in general, not about VSL.)

  • Dear VSL,

  • Would love to hear about a release date as well...have a project that will involve VSTs on the satellite computers.

How 'bout it? This month? Next Month? Enquiring minds want to know!

  • yes... one minute there's an imminent release, the next all mention is quietly dropped from the site.

the lull before the storm perhaps...

    :-)

  • Hello everybody,

With the release of MIR we have even more resources to throw in for the development of VE PRO. I have to admit that it doesn´t look like we can make it until the end of july, I´m expecting a delay of 2-4 weeks. So right now we are  forcussing on a release in august, hopefully rather sooner than later.

We´re sorry that we have to keep you waiting and thank you for your patience!

    Best,

    Paul

  • For sure not good news - but it is news.  Thanks Paul.   I may have to pick up jbridge now.   Well, it is not that expensive though.

For sure looking forward to VEPRO.
