Tech support question - performance tools crashing

I'm having a problem with the performance tools. Every time I open any tool and play it, it inevidably crashes my windows XP system hard.

Also, where can I find the multi layered legato tool instruments? I'm only finding indiviual dynamics.

we'll try to help you.
I'm not the tech guy, but in the meantime I know, that they need detailed description of your system configuration and informations under what circumstances the tool (also info of toolsetup) crashes.

You can post it here, or send CM (Chris Marin, our tech wizzard) a private massage. Just search for "members" in the menu on the left.

The legato instruments will have dynamic layers when we get more than 16 stereo dimensions in Gigastudio. The tool needs gigfiles mapped with more than 24 dimensions in the meantime (we tricked a little).
2 dynamics mapped to one instrument would use more than 48 dimensions.

King Idiot (yeah, the great one) is testing a workaround using two midichannels. I hope he will post his results soon.

if it's possible for you, i would like to recieve that kind of stuff via email, because it's easier to keep track of it (just use the button below)
please keep in mind, we don't have access to all possible systemconfigurations and therefore may not succeed immediately, but a detailed description of your setup would be helpful anyway
