I just listened to the Reminiscing Theme by Maaten Spruijt using Appassionata Strings. Reallly nice piece and excellent programming and mixing. That example and the one by Christian Kardeis are really several steps above the otheres there as far as post production ("mixing") goes imho. In the Spruijt piece, I seem to hear from time to time a bit of real stage noise (music stand, a foot that moves, etc) that add to the realness of the sonics. I had wondered in the past about adding a touch of real noise from time to time. Does anybody else do this, and if so where are you getting you "noise" samples?
