    Hello. I've got a strange problem with some of the instruments on VE/Logic 7. When I use the legato patch, particularly with the horns, the note sometimes trails off only a few seconds after being struck, usually within a longer phrase. How can I stop this from happening? The midi events are all correct (exported from a sibelius file). Thanks in advance for your help.

    The notes trail off because they are not looped. There are a couple of things you can try:

    1. Use the sustain pedal. This may or may not work.
    2. Use a sustain note instead.
